Animation 14: Simon Peter

As we saw with the Pharisees (message 2 weeks ago), we cannot be made righteous by cleaning ourselves up but instead by humbly receiving Christ and His life in us. With Christ in our lives we are new, we are no longer sinners but blameless, pure children of God. This change is what Jesus did with Simon, a fisherman to whom he gave the name Peter ( Rock ). So what happens when we find things in our lives that are inconsistent with who we have been made? What should Simon Peter do when he is not living like Peter but is living like Simon? How do we walk in who we truly are?
