First Importance – A Higher Calling 16

As we near the end of 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul reminds his audience what is of first importance: the gospel. The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ came and died for our sins, taking our place, and providing a way for us to have a relationship with God and to be with him forever. On the third day after dying, God raised him from the dead, overcoming death. In this chapter, Paul honestly looks at the claim that Jesus rose from the dead. Is it really true that Jesus rose to life? Will we live again after this life? If so what will we be like? What are the implications if this is really true?
