My Situation – A Higher Calling 8

Each of us lives in a situation that is not always easy.  In fact life is often extremely challenging, and it is easy to think that if we were only in a different situation then we would be happy and fulfilled.  If only I had a spouse, or if I didn’t have one but could be single, or if I had a different spouse, or …fill in the blank, then life would be good.  The truth is, an abundant life is not about the situation we are in, but a bigger picture.  Finding the good life is not about finding the perfect situation but finding God in our situation.  Even in the midst of undesirable situations, we can find happiness, fulfillment, purpose, and life through a growing relationship with God.
