New Life with Christ 12 - Knit Together

God's plan for his people is that they would have a special love for one another with a deep commitment to unity. This type of love was taught by Jesus and demonstrated in the book of Acts. Yet we live in a society of convenience where commitment seems inconvenient, unusual, and even unhealthy. However, it is devotion to one another that helps us work through the inevitable hurts and misunderstandings that are a natural part of any meaningful relationship. Lack of commitment leads to lack of meaningful relationship. Commitment produces depth and beauty in relationship. 

Colossians 2:2 I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. NLT
