New Life with Christ 9 - Imperfect People of Compassion

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Followers of Christ are by definition those who have received the deep love of God.  They are chosen and called into something new.  When they live as they truly are, one of the qualities that comes out of them is compassion. God's compassion through people is able to bring healing and inner change to others.

The imperfect acts of compassion connected to the love of God and flowing out of His love, have a profound impact on this world.

I pray God would stir us each into cultivating a place where we truly care about what happens in others lives. May the kindness of God, expressed through His people continue to transform lives.

We can deeply love others, because we have been deeply loved.
