For two thousand years, God's people have been gathering in homes around the world -
to hang out and connect, to study the Bible and pray together, and to have an all-around good time. We are carrying on the tradition at The Rio.
We have small groups that meet in our homes. It's a great time to get to know people in a way that can't be done during a weekend service.
And it's an opportunity for every man and woman to contribute. The house church and small group meetings are designed so that you have the chance to come and speak your mind - to share some thoughts or ask tough questions.
We currently have two westside community groups that meet on Wednesday nights. We also have a college-aged group that meets on Friday nights.
Feel free to contact us for more information about our house churches.
Nothing is impossible with God, and nothing is impossible for God's people who pray. We highly value prayer and take time every month to gather and pray for each other and our city. Men's prayer is on Friday mornings. Once every-other month the entire church meets for one of our fiestas, where we worship, pray, and eat some good food together.

We believe that God-glorifying music should be loud and full of life. The music at church should be just as powerful as what you sing along to in the car, if not even better! Our God deserves our best! Our musicians are skilled and bring their best each week, and the audience members also bring their whole heart to the experience!
We are always on the lookout for talented musicians. God may well have a spot for you in one of our bands!
Check out one of our past streams. We think you will be encouraged!

Military life is uniquely challenging and it’s not much easier for a soldier’s spouse. We hope to be a part of your life and support system here in El Paso, and a continuing support when you deploy or PCS. We usually have several soldiers and soldier families, and we would love to have you join us!
Thanks for serving our country!
Our mission at The Rio is to bring life to the world around us. That includes physically as well as spiritually. We have worked with orphanages and colonias in Juarez, as well as serving other ministries and neighbors here in El Paso. If you know anyone who needs help with a project, please contact us and let us know!
We have partnered with more than a dozen short term missions projects with some of our churches in other cities. El Paso is a great place to bring a group to do evangelism and community service in a large international city. The costs are minimal and the opportunities are great! Contact us if you are interested in learning more about short term missions projects.
