The Good News of Christmas

If the message of Jesus is so good, why don’t people lean in and hope it is true? Why is there so much resistance? Why don’t people who don’t believe it’s true, at least wish it was true? Is it possible that we have somehow tainted the good news so that it doesn’t seem good anymore? Can we go back to the original message and find a message that once again gives hope?
