The Commands of Christ 6: Give

Jesus gave instructions to be generous, promised blessings for our giving, and implied that giving impacts our hearts!

Luke 6:38 [Jesus said, ] “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Acts 20:35b The Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Luke 12:34 [Jesus said to his disciples,] “…Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
