Animation 4 – Mary and Martha – With Jesus

What would it be like to host Jesus and some of his friends for dinner? What preparations would you make?  During dinner would you be busy doing things or would you just sit there and listen to Jesus?  This is the situation of Martha and Mary who hosted Jesus many years ago.  Mary “sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made (Luke 10:39-40).”  In this message we can see the value of taking time to do nothing and just be with God, and then in our doing, to do things with God.  What an amazing experience to have dinner with Jesus and then wash the dishes together!
